Reissue of two A-sides originally released by Fontana (1965) and Stateside (1964) respectively in the UK.

This entry is for a 1970s repressing of an earlier President issue from 1968, the A and B sides were transposed as Getting Mighty Crowded was a Northern Soul favourite (still is) and Ed Kassner's labels saw the potential. The initial President pressing states 1968 on both A and B labels, this repressing states 1965 and 1964.
As a footnote to that, all the President releases with the artist name running perpendicular to the title are repressings, the original presses have mottled labels and the artist names are horizontal, like the titles. You can check this by looking at when the label design change was incorporated in the President listings c. 1970.
